Custom Saddlery

Cory builds each saddle for the unique needs of the customer. Cory specializes in working ranch saddles and light weight ladies saddles. Build times may vary.

Deposit of $200 to secure spot. Payment of tree is made directly to the tree maker, Dusty Smith in the amount of $800. Upon initiation of build, a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is requested for materials, with the remaining amount of total due upon completion.

Base models start at $5,000.00 USD. 

Includes:

  • Roughout or smooth out (no tooling)

  • Dusty Smith Tree (Your choice of fork)

  • Seat size 14 - 16” (Upcharge for seat larger than 16") 

  • Latigos on both sides

  • Back cinch and rear billets

  • Rope strap

  • Stainless Flat Plate or In-skirt Rigging. Single rig ring rigging also available.

  • Custom cantle: Straight Up (Rolled and pinned) 

  • Horn size up to 4" (Upcharge for horn larger than 4")

  • Small Round and Medium Round Butterfly Skirts

  • Mulehide or Latigo horn wrap

  • Stainless steel hardware

Add-Ons:

  • Stamping (Basket, Geometric, or Double Border)

  • Cheyenne Roll 

  • Square skirts

  • Custom Tooling

  • Personalization: Brands and Initials

  • Bucking rolls

  • Brass or Horseshoe brand hardware

  • Custom silver hardware (Customer must supply)

  • Stirrups (wide variety are available)

 Chaps, Chinks, Armitas, and Tapaderos

Cory is regarded as one of the best chap makers of the west, having made over 500 unique custom pairs and was awarded in the Pendleton Leather Show. Each pair of chaps, chinks, or armitas is built specifically to the client's measurements. Cory develops a pattern specific to that individual, so there are never any fitting issues as you see with "off the rack" chaps.

Chinks, Armitas, and Bells start at $600 USD.

Shotguns start at $800 USD.

Includes:

  • Base price includes one color for body

  • Bells: includes weighted bottom

  • Stainless hardware (front/belt buckles)

  • Step-ins or buckles style

  • Choice of fringe up to 10" (same color as body)

  • Shotguns: back belt, bottom belt, laced in adjustable brass zippers

Add-Ons:

  • Stamped tops ($100) (Basket or geometric)

  • Partial Carve ($150) and Full Carved tops ($300)

  • Pockets (inside or outside)

  • Conchos

  • Inlay brands

  • Double fringe

  • Overlay or underlay fringe
